Research Objectives

연구목표

• 1) Discovery of a novel therapeutic target, 2) Evaluation of the effects of drug candidates, 3) Exploration of drug mechanism of action in various intractable liver diseases including metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD), acute liver injury, hepatic fibrosis/cirrhosis, and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC)
• Exploration of key molecules and signaling pathways related to anticancer drug-resistant breast cancer and aggressive HCC, and biomarker discovery for the prediction of anticancer drug-resistance and tumor malignancy

• 대사이상지방간질환을 비롯하여 급성간손상, 간섬유화/간경변, 간암과 같은 각종 난치성 간질환 치료를 위한 신규 약물타겟 발굴, 후보약물들의 효과 검증 및 분자적 기전 연구
• 항암제 저항성 유방암 및 간암 악성화와 관련된 세포신호체계 및 핵심분자 발굴
• 항암제 내성 발현 및 종양 악성화 예측 바이오마커 발굴
